to positively impact teens today and beyond. Barbara’s
unique “teen advice parenting” approach
appears regularly online, in print, and in the media.
Due to the effectiveness of parent-teen coaching, parents
smoothly develop their teens into resourceful and responsible
adults.
The founder of TeenFrontier.com, Barbara draws on her
own experiences parenting three teens, her 20 years
of experience in training adults in advanced communication
techniques at Fortune 500 companies, and her work as
a pioneer in parent coaching methods. As her clients
learned to enhance their personal and professional relationships
these parents sought her help to better relate to and
guide their children, especially during the troublesome
teen years.

House for her significant contribution to the
Colorado Regional Conference on Helping
America’s Youth. An experienced

Big Sisters of Colorado, Inc., she is dedicated to mentoring
present-day preteens and teens. She also serves on several

Barbara began her writing career with an “Ask
the Coach” column in a local mid-western daily
newspaper. Her first book was a self-help and motivational
guide Less Drama, More Fun,
published in 2001 which is still popular today with
moms and teens. Four years later, her second book Coach
Your Teen to Success became a national
best seller on Amazon! Barbara says, “We are experiencing
an age of high-anxiety parenting. Adults and teens are
at a critical fork in the road. Which path will you
choose? Will you continue using outdated parenting approaches
regardless of the breathtaking changes we are all experiencing
in our lives, or will you take into account the unique
needs and opportunities of today’s teenager?”
