Amy Schoen, MBA, CPCC,
is the founder of Heartmind Connection Coaching, where
she uses a mix of life coaching, relationship and business
consulting to help single professionals discover their
best possible life! She has helped countless people
balance having wonderful relationships with successful
careers and businesses.
A professional speaker, Amy has spoken to numerous
professional organizations and social groups including
the Professionals in the City, First Class, Learning
Escapes, New Beginnings, American Women in Communications,
Women Business Owners of Montgomery County, the eWomens
Network and at the 2007 Women in Business Conference.
Her freelance articles have been featured in Washington
Woman, Washington Families and the Washington Jewish
Week. She has been quoted in such publications as the
Washington Post, the Washington Business Journal and
the Gazzette Newspapers and has been interviewed on
WUSA TV, WASH FM, WTOP FM, WMET AM, WBIG AM and WUSA
Channel 9 and Montgomery County’s cable Channel
16.
Since 2004, Amy has been conducting research on dating
and relationships for a forthcoming book to help singles
navigate through the dating maze. In addition, she is
currently utilizing her creative talents of writing
and speaking through the medium of the web and the telephone!
She is the author of the handbook, “Motivate to
Marry™- Now There is a Better Method to Dating
and Relationships”. She is also a contributing
author to SelfGrowth.com’s book “101 Great
Ways to Improve Your Life, Vol. 2” featuring top
experts such as John Gray and Jack Canfield. Her article,
“Are You Truly Ready for Marriage?” has
been featured on JDate’s online magazine in December
2006. Her article, “5 Steps to Improving Your
Dating” has been featured in Montgomery County’s
Insight Magazine in the April 2007 issue.
Prior to her life coaching career, Amy owned an upscale
clothing boutique for 13 years in Bethesda Maryland
and is an image and wardrobe consultant. Here, Amy helped
her clients to discover their best image which gave
them the confidence they needed to accomplish their
life goals. After closing the boutique in 2003, Amy
continued as an image/wardrobe consultant and established
Amy’s Eye for Style consulting service. Amy has
the gift of visualization. As a life coach, she has
transferred that gift to helping her clients visualize
the kind of life they truly desire. Amy has an M.B.A.
from Georgetown University and has been certified as
a professional co-active life coach with Coaches Training
Institute of San Rafeal, California. She was chosen
to be featured as one of the six coaches for the Fashion
Group International’s website and members.
Amy is happily married and credits her own quest for
knowledge and work with a coach in helping her find
her life partner. Amy and Alan live joyfully in Rockville,
Maryland.
